Okay this is Ruby. I have a little issue with what to wear sometimes. There were always clothes that I really liked but before put them on, something inside would say, “You can’t wear that. You’re not thin enough, young enough or pretty enough.” So, I wound up wearing the same old clothes instead.
I always thought I was just too critical of myself, until I read the Monkey Mind book and found out it wasn’t “my” mind saying all that stuff…. It was her, my monkey mind! At first I thought maybe she was just jealous or something. Then I started getting to know her and found out that she just wanted a little attention.
So here she is.
Ps: I just happen to being wearing a bright red top as I’m writing this today!
